About Me
I am the Founder and Program Director at SagePoint Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) located in Elk Grove, CA. I have been a therapist for 18 years and have a wide breadth of experiencing having worked in inpatient treatment, private practice, intensive outpatient services, as well as for Sacramento County Behavioral Health Services as a Program Coordinator. I have extensive clinical training and expertise in treating mental health and substance use disorders. I work from a holistic, evidence-based, and trauma-informed lens and believe in a harm reduction approach for meeting and honoring clients where they are on their individualized path of recovery and wellness.

Caroline Bentley, LMFT is the Founder and Program Director for SagePoint Behavioral Health, located in Elk Grove, CA. We are a multidisciplinary treatment program designed to provide integrated and high quality therapeutic interventions for adults 18+ diagnosed with a mental health and/or substance use disorder. Through comprehensive assessments, education, intervention, and treatment, SagePoint Behavioral Health provides clients with the skills and tools for managing mental health and substance use challenges, from a trauma-informed, evidence based, and holistic model.

SagePoint Behavioral Health enables adults with mental health or substance use challenges to receive services they need while maintaining their current employment and residence. The program meets three times per week for three hours each day. These may include services provided during weekday or evenings, with interventions delivered by licensed or associate psychotherapists.
Our experienced and highly credentialed clinical team prides itself on providing discrete, high-quality care in a relaxed, welcoming, and empowering environment. Our program is founded upon effective and research-based approaches designed to empower individuals struggling with mental health and/or substance use disorder. Our clinical team encourages clients to learn and employ the tools needed for overall wellbeing. Our integrated treatment approaches assist adults in gaining social support, learning new coping skills, developing healthy relationships, and discovering the freedom of living within your recovery goals.
