What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you join or renew your membership with the chapter and whenever you change or add to your practice information to the online profile. Information is also collected when you sign up for a conference, workshop or event. 

You may also visit our site anonymously to check on conferences, workshops, newsletters and visit pages on our site.

What do we use your information for?

Information we collect from you may be used in one or the following ways:

• You are able to update your private practice information online for the public to view (you may choose to block this if you wish).  We also publish a member directory and information will be used for this directory unless you opt out of the printed directory in your profile.

• To assist our membership services (we track who and how many people will be attending upcoming conferences as well as who is current and who is due regarding membership fees)

• To process transactions
Your credit card information is not stored on our website and will never be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of paying for membership fees and conference registrations requested by you

• To send periodic emails
The email address you provide is used to send you confirmations of payments you have made and to inform you of upcoming workshops and conferences along with a few occasional special announcements.

Note. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, there is a link we include to unsubscribe at the bottom of each email.

How do we protect your information?

All payment pages are protected by 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Encryption through Wild Apricot. PayPal, which handles the financial transactions also utilizes industry-leading technologies and protocols including (SSL) and are compliant with a number of government and industry security initiatives.

Do we use cookies?

Cookies are used to track page visits with our analytics.   Cookies are also used by Wild Apricot software (our membership software) for various functions on the site.   These are not shared with anyone else.

What information do we share?

From time to time, we do send out emails for associations and affiliates of the chapter.  We also make our mailing list available to other members.   

If you wish to be excluded from any of the mailings (either emails or "snail mail") please send a request to to remove you from third-party lists.
