Position:
Program Committee Member
Type of work:
- Assist with brainstorming workshop topics for the chapter
- Generate lists of potential workshop presenters and topics
- Contact and follow up with program co-chair for upcoming workshops
- Setup and breakdown check-in tables at meetings/workshops
- Engage with members at meetings/workshops
- Participate in committee meetings (1x / month)
Time Commitment (varies):
- 60 - 90 minutes per workshop per month
- 1 - 2 meetings (30-60 mins) with committee members a month (face-to-face or online)
- 1 - 4 hours per month of independent project work as needed
- TOTAL = >10 hours/ month
Length of Commitment:
We are flexible and can accommodate a volunteer for several months or several years.Requirements:
- Current SVC-CAMFT member
- Good communication skills
- Ability to bring potential workshop topics to the program co-chairs for review
