About Me
I am an Attachment and Trauma Specialist and the founder of The Attach Place Center for Strengthening Relationships, LLC. I've been seriously focused on supporting and being a part of healing for individuals and families for 35+ years. It's a little hard to believe it has been that long. When you love what you do, there is no such thing as work.

The Attach Place was conceived in response to my broad sweeping attempts to get help with the attachment challenges and trauma of my two young children adopted from the foster care system 24+ years ago. These days, I am considered an expert in the post-adoption field and it has become my life's mission to support adoptive parents to heal the wounded hearts of their children while thriving at the same time. My book, Drowning With My Hair On Fire: Insanity Relief For Adoptive Parents, is a love story to other adoptive parents seeking help for themselves and their children. I facilitate the Love Matters Parenting Society, an online Therapeutic Parenting Membership for adoptive parents and I host the LOVE Unmuted podcast for those rising to the occasion of living joyfully while parenting children from difficult beginnings. You can access both at https://www.lovemattersparenting.com.

As I have continued to grow my attachment and trauma practice, I have expanded my interests and knowledge-base to include neurofeedback, somatic therapies, EMDR, IFS, Emotionally Focused Therapy, polyvagal neuroscience interventions, and psychedelic-supported therapies, specifically Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).

You can reach me at (916) 403-0588. Call for a free consultation.
