What does therapy look like? The therapy process is highly individual. What works for one person might not work for another. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities depending on what works best for you. Methods I use include traditional talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic techniques, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and mindfulness approaches. My work is informed by current research in the areas of neuroscience, trauma and the mind-body connection.
I offer virtual therapy by video and phone to all California residents. Remote sessions offer the benefits of in-office therapy from the safety, comfort and convenience of your own home. Online therapy is also a great option if you live in a remote area, have mobility issues due to injury or chronic illness, are travelling, or have a busy work or school schedule.
