About Me
My goal is to empower you on your unique path to personal fulfillment.
I approach therapy from a humanistic perspective, believing that every person is worthy of dignity, love, and fulfillment in their life. Navigating the pains, pleasures, and complexities of life can be challenging! I know this from first-hand experience. I also know from personal experience that therapy can be an excellent tool to learn more about yourself and better understand how you relate to the world around you.
Clients can expect a strengths-based, collaborative approach when working with me. Through mutual curiosity and discussion (and sometimes laughs and tears), I will join you in discovering your own potential, exploring opportunities of growth, and identifying the wisdom you already carry within you. I believe therapy should be flexible and dynamic. I will check in with you often to make sure my approach is hitting the mark for you. You are the expert on your life, and I will leverage you as such!
I enjoy working with folks of all ages and identities. As a member of it myself, I am very passionate about the LGBTQIA community. I am trained in Gottman Level I Couples Therapy and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am constantly seeking new bits of knowledge to help my clients, whether that be from trainings or other clinicians around me. I am also actively involved with the Sacramento Area chapter of CAMFT, serving on its Board of Directors.
