    Hello  Colleagues,

I’m in the process of becoming certified in a trauma therapy to help individuals, especially those who have economic barriers, to receive treatment for trauma.

One way I’m trying to reach this goal is by becoming certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) which is a treatment designed for trauma/PTSD. It has a 77% effectiveness rate and has been researched very thoroughly by the Department of Veterans Affairs. As part of my certification, I need to have at least two clients complete CPT.

At my agency, I’m experiencing difficulty getting enough clients for CPT and have a short window of time to complete the certification process. As a result, I am working in a private practice setting where I can offer a sliding scale or free therapy services. Could you please send possible referrals? I would greatly appreciate your help.

Below is a brief description of my services for clients.

I am currently accepting new clients ages 18 and up on a sliding scale and there are a few free spots available. My degree is a Masters in Social Work from Smith College in Massachusetts. The goal of my work with clients is to help them utilize their strengths and work though challenges with encouragement and compassion. My clinical supervision is with Dr. Katherine Wilson, Licensed Clinical Psychologist 3017.

At this time, I’m taking on a small caseload of clients on a sliding scale and with the option of pro bono. If you know of clients interested in trauma treatment by telehealth, please refer them to me at 916-661-3603. https://www.wilsonconsultingpractice.com/katie-culpepper

    Thanks for your help,
    Katie Culpepper, ACSW #71420
