We are looking for a Licensed Therapist for University California Students and Graduate Students to work 10-15 hours a week remotely.

    Therapist Position
We are looking to add a new therapist to our virtual team. 20’s Creating Connections is a team of licensed therapists who are passionate about working with young adults (18 years old - 37 years old/graduate and undergraduate students).

We provide in-person and virtual counseling to University of California Santa Cruz students. Currently, all clients are being seen virtually until further notice.
We offer a compassionate therapy approach, combined with dynamic collaboration to help young adults develop skills and tools to apply to psychological challenges in their lives.

You desire a consistent flow of university clients, deeply enjoy the work, want to a consistent income, and thrive working independently.

The paper work is minimal and we handle all the billing and issues with insurance companies. If you're already credentialed through Anthem that is very helpful.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide high quality counseling services that are both practical, experiential, and dynamic in nature
    • A caseload of 10-15 clients. Clients are seen weekly or bi-monthly on weekdays or weekends.
    • Create treatment goals, diagnosis, and brief case notes
    • Maintain liability insurance
    • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
    • Ability to assess and treat symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD
    • Experience working with a diverse multicultural population

    Qualifications

    • Ability to provide phone or internet based services
    • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required.
    • Licensed as an LCSW or MFT
    • Experience working with young adults 18-33 years old
    • Bilingual abilities a plus and increased pay.

The therapist is an independent contractor. It is assumed that they have another private practice or clinical work outside of this agreement.
The therapist may refuse to provide services to any referred client. They may also refer any client out they believe are outside of their scope of practice or expertise. If hired we will have a mutual trial period for two months.
